Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit this website (the "Site"). By using this Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide — such as your name, email address, business name, or other contact details — when you fill out the inquiry form, subscribe to a newsletter, or contact us directly. The inquiry form also asks about your project: the type of photography you're considering, timeline, scope, and anything else you choose to share.

If we work together, we'll also collect the information needed to run the project: billing details, mailing address, contract signatures, and shoot logistics.

We also automatically collect certain non-personal information through cookies and analytics tools — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed — to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries or provide customer support

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices

  • Plan and deliver photography work

  • Send updates, offers, or newsletters (if you've opted in)

  • Process transactions or provide requested services

  • Improve the functionality and security of our Site

  • Comply with legal obligations

We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information depends on the context:

  • Consent — when you have given clear consent for us to process your information (for example, signing up for a newsletter).

  • Contract — when processing is necessary to perform a contract with you (for example, completing a booking).

  • Legal Obligation — when processing is required to comply with applicable law.

  • Legitimate Interest — when processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, and your rights do not override those interests.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate effectively, remember preferences, and analyze traffic.

Necessary cookies keep the Site functioning: page loading, form submission, and security. Analytics cookies tell us how people find and move through the Site, in aggregate. Third-party cookies may be set by embedded content, including the inquiry form and any embedded video or fonts.

When you first visit the Site, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or manage your preferences. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may not function properly.

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is stored using secure, third-party platforms that maintain their own privacy and security standards, and we limit who has access to client information.

No online platform is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to run this business. Each receives only what it needs:

  • Squarespace — website hosting and site analytics

  • Dubsado — inquiry form, client portal, contracts, and invoicing

  • Stripe — payment processing; we never see or store your full card number

  • Squarespace — site traffic measurement

  • Pic-Time — gallery and image delivery

This Site may also include links to or integrations with third-party platforms, including social media and embedded content. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their data practices.

7. Photographs

Photography carries its own privacy questions, so to be explicit:

If you hire us, the licensing and usage terms for your images are set in our contract, not in this policy. That contract governs.

If you appear in a photograph we take — as a client, a model, an employee at a brand shoot, or otherwise — we may use those images in our portfolio, on this Site, on social media, and in pitches to prospective clients, subject to the release or contract terms that apply to that shoot. If you've appeared in an image and want it removed from our public work, email us and we'll take it down.

Images you send us as reference or moodboard material are used only for that project.

8. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA & General)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent or object to certain uses of your data

  • Request data portability

  • Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)

To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. These rights apply to you regardless of whether they're listed here.

9. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

Inquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to [2 years], then deleted. Client project files, contracts, and financial records are kept as long as tax and business record requirements demand, typically seven years. Image archives are retained indefinitely unless you ask otherwise, so past clients can return for files.

10. Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Photographs of minors are only taken and used with a parent or guardian's written permission.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the Site after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact Us
